About this site
Okinose W Arch (沖の瀬 Wアーチ) is a drift dive at Asahi on Toyama Bay, Toyama, on the outermost reef of the area, with a maximum depth of 25 m and an average around 15 m. The dive runs from the double arch toward the tip of Okinose reef as a drift with a free descent, and full-foot fins are recommended for the days when current is strong. Current can be fast at times; intermediate and above, and divers must be able to reach the bottom unaided since one instructor leads several divers. Nudibranchs, red-spotted grouper, yellow grouper, Asian sheepshead wrasse, yellowtail amberjack and young yellowtail are typical.
