About this site
Osakibana (大崎鼻) is a boat-dived reef off Tanegashima in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 18 minutes by boat, with a maximum depth of 20 m. There is constant current and visibility swings sharply with the direction of flow. Schools of surgeonfish follow the ledge, the table corals are unusually large, and porcelain crabs live in the anemones among the rocks. Advanced divers only.
