About this site
Mitsuse (三ツ瀬) is a boat-dived pinnacle off Tanegashima in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 23 minutes by boat, with a maximum depth of 25 m. Three rock tips break the surface, and the boat stops in front of the sheer rock; from around 8 m the dive heads offshore to a rock with a large gorgonian sea fan. Egg cowries are common, including unusual colour forms. Intermediate and above.
