About this site

Snapper Alley lies off Bangu Island in the Similan Islands archipelago, part of Phang Nga province in southern Thailand. The Similans sit in the Andaman Sea and are reached by liveaboard or day boat from the mainland coast, typically operating on a seasonal window when the park is open. The site sits over a sand bottom to a maximum depth of around 12 metres and is rated a beginner dive, though divers have reported strong current here at times. Marine life reported on this dive includes barracuda, clownfish, manta rays, nurse sharks, parrotfish, sea turtles, and snapper.
