About this site
Tsurihama (釣り浜) is a coral-reef slope 20 minutes by boat from Chichijima in the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo, with a maximum depth of 25 m and an average around 8 m. Good water movement brings schooling fish, led by fusiliers, and sergeant majors, damselfish, anemonefish, drummers and green turtles are also seen. Current runs here; the site is suitable from beginner level.
