About this site
Yokodaoshi (横倒し) is a wreck site 20 minutes by boat from Chichijima in the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo, with a maximum depth of 24 m and an average around 16 m. As the name says, the wreck lies on its side, and the shallower part of the site carries healthy coral growth, so the dive combines wreck and reef. Damselfish, nudibranchs, yellowfin goatfish and Japanese and lemonpeel angelfish are typical; there is little current and the site is suitable from beginner level.
