About this site
Emese (エーメ瀬) is a pinnacle dive site in the Makurazaki and Bonotsu area of Kagoshima Prefecture, with a maximum depth of 25 m and an average around 10 m, suitable from beginner level. Boulders, rocky reef and sand give a mix of terrain with the different creatures each supports. Current is weak, so it is an easy site for beginners to take at their own pace.
