About this site
Sakinoe Sentan (崎ノ江先端) is a varied dive site at the tip of a headland in the Makurazaki and Bonotsu area of Kagoshima Prefecture, with a maximum depth of 18 m and an average around 15 m, suitable from beginner level. Drifting slowly over the sand produces rays, razorfish and gobies. Towards the point there are pelagics and soft coral, while the boulders on the inside hold sea turtles and a range of other life.
