About this site
Hitomaru Outside (人丸アウトサイド) is a slope of huge boulders 20 minutes by boat from Chichijima in the Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 16 m. Around an arch at about 30 m, schools of bluestripe snapper gather and whitetip reef sharks lie resting, and the Ogasawara red spiny lobster is often seen with drummers, fusiliers, yellowfin goatfish and boarfish. Current runs here and the site is for advanced divers only.
