No Name Reef

No Name Reef sits within the Great Barrier Reef system off the coast of far north Queensland, in the reef area east of Cape Tribulation and the Cooktown region. Sites in this part of the outer reef are generally reached by boat from ports such as Cairns or Port Douglas, or on multi-day liveaboard trips further offshore. Divers here have reported a mix of reef fish typical of this stretch of the Great Barrier Reef, including bicolor chromis, brown tang, dot-and-dash and forceps butterflyfish, Indian bullethead and swarthy parrotfish, Philippine and scaly damsels, spiny chromis, and Indian redfin butterflyfish.
